| Nov. 10 was the 50th anniversary of the CSR Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute Co. Ltd. (hereinafter CSR Zhuzhou). Liu Zhijun, minister of the Ministry of Railways of the PRC sent his congratulatory telegram air grinder. Vice Governor Han Yongwen attended the celebration ceremony and made a speech. Zhang Shuguang, assistant chief engineer of the Ministry of Railways and director of the Transport Bureau declared at the ceremony that the traction drive system and the internet control system of the 100 lines, 16-vehicle marshalling CRH (China Railway High-speed) in the procurement plan within 2 years with a design air impact wrench speed of 380 kilometers per hour will be provided by CSR Zhuzhou with a total value of 8 billion RMB. Liu Zhijun highly appreciated in his congratulatory letter the gorgeous contributions made by the CSR Zhuzhou for China’s railway equipment build-up. He also spoke highly of its introduction and innovation project of the advanced CRH and the high-power locomotives, based on the fact that the CSR Zhuzhou has grasped such core technologies as the AC drive control system, internet control system, high-power semiconductor and IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor), which enormously promoted the level of the railway equipment and technology in China. |
